GROUP THERAPY

A Supportive Hug

Group Therapy helps to guide you as you work through your problems in a protected, trusting, and confidential atmosphere. You will receive the support and encouragement of other group members that are dealing with similar issues, which can help you feel less isolated in your struggles.

You may find group therapy helpful if you have experienced a traumatic situation or dealing with a sudden illness or loss. In these instances, group therapy is beneficial because members can share their common feelings in a non-judgmental and supportive setting.

Our groups are held bi-weekly for 1.30 hours, some groups are on-going and others are time-limited. If you are interested in group therapy, you will be assessed and given information that can help you make an informed decision regarding the group that may be most beneficial for you.

Our groups are facilitated by experienced therapists and have approximately six to eight members, who are dealing with similar life challenges. Some groups may also have a co-facilitator.
